Is Step Right Up right for my child?
Perhaps your child is an introvert and would love to be on stage but hasn't been able to handle the pressure of a typical acting class. Or is afraid to take risks in front of their friends so they just haven't tried other creative outlets.
For children with special needs, typical classes can be too intimidating and demanding. For children with high-functioning special needs such as ADHD, ADD, Asperger's, high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as Executive Functioning or other social issues, our classes are just the right fit.
Your child may have no social deficiencies whatsoever, but he or she may just want to take a class where the demand isn't as high, the process not too intimidating and the staff patient and kind.
As a mom of a son on the Spectrum and ADHD and Sensory Processing Disorder, I know that most extra-curricular activities are too fast and the expectations are too high for my kid. That's why I created this studio.
