IMprov and acting

Acting and Improv

In this class, neurotypical children ages 9-14 will learn the basics of both acting and improv! How to create characters, play a scene, memorization tips and tricks, and super fun acting exercises to make you ready to shine like a star. This weekly class will prepare you for stage performances, whether improvised or scripted. For experienced performers and first timers! This class is taught by Dave Maulbeck who is a professional actor and longtime teaching artist. He’s worked in both stage and screen, and performed at improv theaters around the country.

The class will culminate in a final performance. Date & Time TBD.

All Improv classes will run for 10 weeks, 1 hour per class.

Fall session begins September 13th, and runs for 10 weeks, with no class on November 8th.
